As costs skyrocket and choices plummet, it is evident our healthcare system is not adequately serving the American people. Furthermore, years of greater federal government involvement have been far less than a course correction. Congress must reorient its one-size-fits-all approach. In Congress, I will continue to advocate for policies that focus on patient-centered, market-based solutions that lower costs and increase options. Some of my efforts include:
- H.R. 7258 - Health Care Equality and Modernization Act of 2022 | This bill repeals the requirement for large employers to offer affordable coverage to full-time employees.
- H.R. 2474 – Strengthening Medicare for Patients and Providers Act | This bill increases Medicare payments to physicians to keep up with inflation.
- H.R. 3129 – Healthcare Fairness for ALL Act | Ensure health care fairness and affordability for all Americans through universal access to equitable health insurance tax credits, reformed health savings accounts, and strengthened consumer protections, and for other purpose.
