Washington D.C.– On January 19, Congressman Pete Sessions (TX-17) was confirmed as a member of the House Financial Services Committee and House Committee on Oversight & Accountability. Both committees are at the forefront of House Republicans’ commitment to providing a strong economy, a secure nation, and a government accountable to the American taxpayer. Congressman Sessions’ previous tenure as a former member and Chairman of the powerful House Rules Committee will give fellow Republican committee members access to expert-level counsel concerning House floor procedure.

After two years of one-party rule, our nation has been brought to the brink of chaos.
