"Texans have answers for Texas Problems"

Washington, D.C.– U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (TX-17) made a statement during a House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing on gun violence:

"As soon as I heard what happened, I immediately began convening 10 countries worth of superintendents, mayors, counties judges, law enforcement, sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, and school resource officers. I did not sit back and wait to find out what response may develop during this hearing. I did not wait to find out what someone else thinks is a good idea. I think Texans have answers to Texas problems."
