Congressman Sessions Votes on Fiscal Year 2023 NDAA
December 8, 2022
Washington D.C.– On December 8, 2022, Congress passed H.Res 1512 – FY23 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Congressman Pete Sessions (TX-17) voted yea for the bill. This year’s NDAA includes a repudiation of the Biden administration's failed COVID-19 vaccine policies for military service members.
Congressman Sessions was pleased with today’s vote. He stated, “It is unfair to force troops to decide between getting the vaccine (even for religious exemptions) or the ability to serve their country in the U.S. military. Today’s vote will give our federal government the resources to keep America safe and bolster opportunities for patriotic Americans selflessly serving in uniform."
