My office is always accepting applications from students interested in interning in my Washington D.C. or Dallas District Office.

Washington, D.C.

Interns in my Washington, D.C. office will have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working with the legislative and communications staff members.

If you are interested in serving as a college intern in my Washington, DC office, please email Jacob Durst,, a copy of your resume, a cover letter, a writing sample (no more than 500 words) and complete the application found here.

The deadline for applications for Summer 2018 is Friday, March 2, 2018. 

Dallas District Office

By assisting my district staff, interns have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about how a Congressional office provides constituent services and interacts with the community.

College students may be able to receive academic credit for their internship. Please check with your college or university for more details.

The Congressman Pete Sessions Leadership and Growth Program

The Pete Sessions Leadership and Growth Program (PSLGP) is a week-long summer program in Washington, DC for high school students who are 16 or older.
