WACO–The Office of Congressman Pete Sessions is accepting nominations for local exceptional veterans to receive a Congressional Veteran Commendation. The CVC program recognizes veterans residing in Texas' 17th who have continued in service through community involvement. Applications consist of a nomination form, a 1–2-page letter, addressed to Congressman Pete Sessions, which details why you believe the nominee should receive the 17th District’s Congressional Veteran Commendation, a current photo of the veteran, and a DD214.
