The Hill Report: Week of March 7 - 11, 2016
This week marked the first week of spring break for many North Texas schools so we were busy coordinating tours for hundreds of families, groups, and individuals. My office was happy to welcome more than 230 constituents to Washington to give them a tour of the Capitol. In addition to Capitol tours, my office can also set up tours for the Library of Congress, Bureau of Printing and Engraving, White House, Supreme Court, National Archives, and the Pentagon. If you and your family are planning a visit to Washington, please contact my office at 202.225.2231 or you can visit my website for more information on how to sign up for tours.

Honoring the Men in Blue
Last weekend I was honored to be a part of the Richardson Police Department’s Annual Awards Banquet and spend the evening honoring those who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting our community. I would like to especially congratulate all of our award winners and nominees for 2015. These men and women represent the finest we have to offer and we are forever indebted to them for their sacrifices.

Congressional Art Competition
Each year I am always delighted to host the Congressional Art Competition in the 32nd Congressional District. This competition invites North Texas high school students to submit a piece of artwork that best reflects their idea of “America the Beautiful” and have their piece displayed in the United States Capitol. Last year we had more than 30 submissions and I am always deeply impressed with the skills and creativity in each piece. If you would like to participate in this year’s competition, click here.
