This week in Washington, the House was in session for legislative business. On the other side of the Capitol, the U.S. Senate debated our continuing resolution (CR) – legislation to fund federal government agencies and programs after October 1 when current funding expires. As you may remember, last week I voted on the House’s CR to keep the government running while also defunding ObamaCare.
The House will be in session this weekend as we receive legislation back from the Senate after their vote today on the House-passed CR. I will continue to keep you updated on our work throughout the weekend and next week on my social media pages. Follow me on Facebook and Twitter for the most up-to-date information.
