As a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), I am a strong supporter of the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Throughout my 17 years in Congress, I have consistently voted against reckless gun control measures. The U.S. Constitution states very plainly, “…the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” I remain fully committed to protecting this right.
