"I strongly believe that Israel has the inalienable right to protect herself and keep her citizens safe from extremists as violence continues to escalate in the Gaza strip.  Last week, my colleagues and I in the House approved H.Res.813, which reaffirmed our unwavering commitment to our ally Israel.  As always, I will continue to stand by Israel and to give my steadfast support to advancing a safer and more open Middle East.”
