Lee Padilla
Chief of Staff
Lee Padilla joined the Sessions’ team during the highly competitive campaign of 2004 before joining the official staff as District Outreach Director the following year. Lee worked for four years in Dallas until Congressman Sessions tapped him to serve in a new capacity within the political department of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) of which Sessions was chairman. After completing his last year at the NRCC as a Regional Political Director, Lee has rejoined the official staff to serve as Congressman Sessions’ Chief of Staff.
Leigh Young
Executive Assistant
Leigh Young was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After attending the University of Texas in Austin, she came to DC as an intern for Congressman Sessions in the fall of 2004. She went on to work for another Dallas-area Member of Congress, Congressman Jeb Hensarling, in January of 2005 for a year and half. Leigh briefly left the Hill to work for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America on their federal PAC. Having realized that Capitol Hill is too great to leave for long, Leigh rejoined Team Sessions in July 2007 as his Scheduler.
Brittany Fornof
Press Secretary
A native of Ocala, Florida, Brittany Fornof attended Rollins College where she received a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in English (2011). Prior to working on Capitol Hill, Brittany worked as a publicist, public relations professional, marketing director and journalist in Orlando, Florida. She served as the Newsletter Editor of the Orlando Republican Women’s Network and Orange County Young Republicans. In 2012, Brittany worked on Governor Romney’s campaign as a Field Director for the Republican Party of Florida before joining Sessions’ staff as his Press Secretary in January 2013.
Lindsay Pitts
Legislative Director
Lindsay Pitts was born and raised in Athens, Tennessee. Following her graduation from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, she began her service on Capitol Hill with Congressman John J. Duncan, Jr. of Tennessee. After more than six years with Congressman Duncan, Lindsay worked as the Western Regional Field Research Analyst for the National Republican Congressional Committee for the 2010 election cycle. She then went on to be Legislative Director for Congressman Bill Flores of Texas, but in October 2011, went back to the National Republican Congressional Committee where she worked as the Legislative Director for the 2012 election cycle. As the Congressman’s Legislative Director, Lindsay manages the Congressman’s legislative staff as well as advises the Congressman on Health, Social Security, Education, Budget, Appropriations and Retirement Security/Pensions issues.
Preston Kerr
Senior Legislative Assistant
Preston Kerr was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Upon graduation from Highland Park High School, Preston attended Furman University, earning a B.A. in Political Science. He began his career as an intern for Senator Jim DeMint. He went on to serve for 3 years as an aide to Senator John Cornyn in his personal office and at the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). Preston advises Congressman Sessions on telecommunications, banking, financial services, taxes and trade issues.
Kevin Hubbard
Legislative Correspondent
Kevin Hubbard is originally from Queens, New York. In 2011, he graduated from Davidson College where he served as Student Body President and earned a B.A. in Political Science. After graduation, Kevin interned in Congressman Sessions’ DC office before joining his legislative staff full-time. As a Legislative Correspondent, Kevin assists the Congressman’s Legislative Team with issues such as Defense, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Trade.
Justin Futch
Legislative Correspondent
Justin Futch, originally from Coppell, TX, graduated from Texas A&M University in 2011 with a B.S. in Agricultural Communications & Journalism. After graduation, Justin joined Congressman Sessions’ office as an intern, only to later join the National Republican Congressional Committee while the Congressman was serving as Chairman. He has since rejoined the Congressman’s DC office as a Legislative Correspondent, and assists the Congressman’s Legislative Team with issues such as Financial Services, Social Security, Trade, and Taxes.
Sydney Stone
Staff Assistant
Sydney Stone is originally from Dallas, TX. She recently graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2012 with a B.A. in Political Science. After spending the past three summers in Washington, D.C. interning and coordinating the Pete Sessions Leadership and Growth Program, she became a full time Staff Assistant for Congressman Sessions in August 2012.
