Lee Padilla
Chief of Staff

Lee Padilla first joined Team Sessions during the 2004 campaign and has worked in several capacities for the Congressman.  After the 2004 election, he worked for four years as a District Outreach Director in Sessions' District Office. When Congressman Sessions became Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, he tapped Lee to be in the committee's political department. After completing his last year at the NRCC as a Regional Political Director in 2012, Lee rejoined the Congressman’s congressional office as Chief of Staff.

Lindsay Pitts
Legislative Director

Lindsay Pitts was born and raised in Athens, Tennessee. Following her graduation from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, she began her career on Capitol Hill with Congressman John J. Duncan, Jr. of Tennessee. After more than six years with Congressman Duncan, Lindsay worked as the Western Regional Field Research Analyst for the NRCC during the 2010 election cycle. She then served as Legislative Director for Congressman Bill Flores of Texas until October 2011 when she returned to the NRCC to serve as the Legislative Director through the 2012 election cycle. As the Congressman’s Legislative Director, Lindsay manages the office’s legislative staff and advises the Congressman on healthcare, social security, education, budget, appropriations, and retirement security/pensions.

Kyle Matous
Legislative Assistant

Kyle Matous was born and raised in Temple, Texas. In 2007, he graduated from the University of Virginia where he earned his B.A. in American Politics.  After working for two years for a search marketing firm, Kyle attended the Pepperdine University School of Law, from which he graduated in 2012.  While in law school, he worked as a legal clerk for the Commercial Court of the Ugandan government in Kampala, Uganda, as a legal intern with WilmerHale in London, and as a clerk for the Institute for Justice, a Washington, DC based constitutional law firm. Before joining Congressman Sessions’ office, Kyle was the Policy Assistant for the Rules Committee. Kyle advises Congressman Sessions on foreign affairs, telecommunications, taxes, trade, transportation and infrastructure, and judicial issues.

Kevin Hubbard
Legislative Assistant

Kevin Hubbard is originally from Queens, New York. In 2011, he graduated from Davidson College where he served as Student Body President and earned a B.A. in Political Science. After graduation, Kevin interned in Congressman Sessions’ DC office before joining his legislative staff full-time, during which he graduated from the Air Command and Staff College. Kevin advises Congressman Sessions on agriculture, banking/financial services, defense, energy, environment, homeland security, housing, labor, small business, social issues, and veterans.

Julia Griswold
Executive Assistant/Scheduler

Julia Griswold is from Houston, TX and is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University where she majored in English and minored in History and German. Before joining Congressman Sessions' office in 2013, she interned for Congressman Pete Olson (TX-22) in his Washington, DC office. In high school and college, Julia worked on campaigns in Texas for Congressman Pete Olson and Congressman Bill Flores.

Ryan Ethington
Staff Assistant

Ryan Ethington was born and raised in Dallas, TX. After graduating from Highland Park High School, Ryan attended the University of Richmond where he earned a B.A. in Leadership Studies with a double major in Political Science.  During college, Ryan interned for Congressman Sessions in his Washington, D.C. office. Upon graduation, he served as a coordinator for Sessions’ high school intern program before being hired as a Staff Assistant.

Caroline Boothe
Staff Assistant

Caroline Boothe was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2013, she graduated from Southern Methodist University where she majored in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs and double minored in Business and Law. During college, Caroline worked with the Office of George W. Bush where she served as the correspondence intern. Prior to accepting her position as staff assistant, she interned with Congressman Sessions’ office in DC.
